At Lavender, there are a number of after school clubs for children. Find out about them below.
If you have a talent or particular interest that you could share with our children and could spare an hour or so a week to help run a club, please let us know. Perhaps you can speak another language, play a musical instrument, do origami or even tap dance! Whatever your skill is, we would love to hear from you! Please ask a member of the office staff to speak to Mrs Pallikaros who is the club coordinator.
Homework club is a place where our children are able to complete and discuss homework in a calm and supportive environment. It enables them to have the support of their teachers should they need it and a chance to discuss the homework in a smaller setting.
The homework club is offered to the following pupils:
Y5 & Y6 in the Autumn term
Y6 & Y3 in the Spring term
Y4 & Y5 in the Summer term
We have limited spaces available; should you require a place and the club is already full, you can be put onto our waiting list until a space becomes available.
Netball club currently runs on a Wednesday after school for children in years 5-6. If your child would like to attend the club, please speak to either Miss McNiece or a member of the school office. Thank you.
We are very lucky to have an excellent outside company to host sports sessions throughout the week for the children at Lavender School.
Currently the Supersports team run a football club for reception and year 1 children on a Monday and for year 2 and 3 children on a Tuesday after school. They have also just started a dodgeball club on a Wednesday after school for years 4-6.
If your child is interested in attending any of the above clubs, please ask a member of the office team for a letter.
